Our onsite café bar in George Town, Tasmania opens to the public on weekends and school holidays (8:30 am – 6:00 pm) — serving up simple, curated Tasmanian fare and a menu full of local goodness.
Think fresh coffee you’ll come back for, Tassie wines, ciders, and craft beers — all best enjoyed with sweeping views of the Tamar River, Bass Strait and surrounds.
Wander our landscaped grounds, sink into a deck chair, or just let the serenity do its thing. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, the conversation flows, and nature quietly steals the show.

The Mount George trailhead sits just 200 metres away from your pod, offering flow trails for every rider — from cruisy first-timers to thrill-seekers chasing grin-inducing descents. And for those who like their adrenaline dialled up a notch, the legendary Tippogoree Hills trails are just minutes away — ready to test even the most seasoned riders.

Eight years ago, the owners ditched the corporate chaos and swapped deadlines for daydreams. Somewhere between takeoff and touchdown on a hectic work trip, inspiration struck — an article about a grown-up “camp” for the frazzled souls of New York. A place to unplug, unwind, and remember how to breathe.
The idea stuck. Why not create something similar — but set among Tasmania’s wild beauty, not city smog?
