Our Café Bar is a small, family-owned and operated business, proudly showcasing simple, delicious food made with premium Tasmanian produce wherever possible.
Our compact kitchen is designed for quality rather than complexity. Each morning we freshly prepare our gourmet toasties ready for service, allowing us to provide fast, consistent meals. As a result, toasties cannot be made to order or customised.
We personally collect our cakes, pastries, cookies and sweet treats from our premium Tasmanian suppliers in Launceston and surrounding areas, the day before or on the morning of service.
Wherever possible, we proudly source 100% Tasmanian produce and ingredients, including our bacon, eggs, breads, rolls, butters, cheeses, relishes, olive oils, meats, wines, beers, ciders and many of the products featured throughout our menu.
As a small family business, you'll often be welcomed by family or friends lending a hand alongside our wonderful local team. We are proud to employ local people across both our Café Bar and Mountaintop Pod accommodation.
While our menu isn't elaborate, we believe in doing the simple things exceptionally well—offering quality food, premium local produce, genuine hospitality and thoughtful attention to detail to create an experience that is warm, relaxed and memorable.
Thank you for supporting local Tasmanian growers, producers, artisan makers and small businesses.
